Book readers will be pleased with this film, while non-book readers may have mixed reactions. The only thing I was disappointed at in this film is how cookie cut this film was compared to the book, which made it an exciting adventure story.
Burger realizes the stakes and brutality of the action (which is very realistic), but trying to keep the PG-13 rating must have been the real setback to the more exciting story of the novel, yet it does create a pretty edgy plot and a great action packed finale that will have you trying to contain your cheers.
