Review of Divergent (2014) by Joe W — 03 Jan 2016
Divergent is a cross between Harry Potter and Hunger Games without the wizardry and the weird costumes. The movie is set in Chicago 200 years in the future after the next Great War. The city's population was divided between four factions much like the four classes in Harry Potter.
The only difference is the fifth faction group the Divergents cannot be trusted by one of the other groups. Great cast, great stunt sequences and good script. Now off to watch the sequel.
