Veronica Roth's modern-day classic comes to life on the big screen as this rich and full two-and-a-half-hour epic starring Shailene Woodley and Theo James unfolds. I loved Woodley's portrayal as Beatrice "Tris" Prior and James' portrayal as her love interest, "Four.

" For reasons that become clear later in the film, "Four," is a just a nickname, but for Tris, it becomes something that saves her very life at a crucial point later on in the film. For those who have read the books, this film is a very faithful adaptation that you will be happy with.

For those who haven't, watching the film will make you want to read the book even more!
