Unrealistic to the extreme. Some of the sentiment of the book is retained, but this is a classic example of Hollywood ruining a decent story. It's too glitzy, big and obvious. Woodley does ok (although she's clearly not as comfortable with this unrealistic action style film as she is with her other roles- probably because it's not a good style and her internal actor is rebelling).
The direction could have been better, and I feel a lot of the emotion was lost in the rushed pace .
