Review of Disturbing Behavior (1998) by Luc L — 09 Nov 2010
Stinker reeks of a studio imposing on a movie and stripping it of it's potential by making it a "marketable" 83 minute piece of crap. The story potential is completely tossed out by careless executives.
Story concept is good, focusing on a group of overachieving, Stepford-esque high school students who look like they stepped out of "Leave it to Beaver", prompting a group of outsider students to peel away at such a pretty picture and unveil a layer of ugliness.
It's disappointing to see the potential tossed out in favor of people who think they can make money by turning potential into crap, given that the DVD's deleted scenes are all the scenes that actually make sense of the story.
What's left is a hash mash of poorly cut scenes that look cool, but add up to absolutely nothing. All prints of this movie should end up in a huge bonfire.
