Review of District B13 (2004) by Zach A — 19 Feb 2009

First off I wanna say that this film has the best free-running I've seen in a movie. It has some great set-pieces and the action is fantastic.

I also love the idea of a future where the government has decided one area of the city is so fucked up that they just lock them all in and wash their hands of the situation.

My one gripe with the movie is that in places it's got some cheesy-assed dialogue, however this is easily overlooked because it's subtitled and somehow it doesn't quite have the same negative impact it might do in an English-language film.

One for action fans to check out, or even if you just wanna see some cool parkour :).
