Maybe I built this up too much in my own mind. I loved maybe 40% of it by volume, and there were definitely some kick-arse sequences, but the action definitely dwindled past the halfway mark, and I found myself praying for credits as the film backed down from confrontation after confrontation and ended in a bewilderingly self-righteous political rant.
It could have been so much more awesome, but I kind of wish I'd watched the opening sequence of Casino Royale instead.
