This is mindless action fun! Sure, it has an unoriginal and flimsy plot. Sure, it has some cheesy characters and mediocre acting. But it also has some of the most incredible stunt work not seen since the likes of Tony Jaa in Ong Bak.
If you really want to enjoy this movie (it's hard not to), then do yourself a favor, turn your brain off and just enjoy the ride. It's certainly better than any action movie the US has put out in a LONG time! And let's face it, our action movies suffer with the same issues.
