Review of District B13 (2004) by Tuna M — 07 Feb 2010
This movie is very typical of other Luc Besson produced films, such as The Transporter series. So much so, in fact, I could practically see Jason Statham starring in this movie. As far as action movies go it's pretty well done but falls into the subgenre that movies like Carpenter's Escape films and Neil Marshall's Doomsday fall into.
That said, with an excuse of a plot to basically push from action sequence to action sequence, the movie executes its devices expertly, which makes it a fun movie to watch, if nothing else.
