Review of District B13 (2004) by Peter M — 24 Feb 2010

You'd think a Parkour French film would be as interesting as an extended youtube video and you'd be wrong. The Parkour is actually the least impressive to me, since there are so much quick cuts and stylized choreography and luckily, it's just a small element in the film.

The story itself is well thread, but the characters, especially the two leads and the villian, are fun to watch. The biggest plus is how the characters break a lot of convention - the decisions that the characters make are almost illogical but somehow ingenious.

Beware googling French actress Dany Verissimo though, turns out she has a bit of a porny past.
