The plot is kind of silly, but how else do you frame a story around parkour. The freerunning lower classes have been walled inside the ghettos and Belle (parkour inventor) must collaborate with Raffaelli to take out the local drug kingpin and his.
.. nuclear weapon? The Drug Lord is played very well by Bibi Naceri (older brother of Taxi 1-4 star Samy) who also penned the story I believe. Anyway, it's mostly a frame for very cool stunts and awesome fight scenes.
If you've watched lots of Besson penned movies you'll probably remember Raffaelli from Kiss of the Dragon and other stuff, he finally gets to shine a bit with a starring role. Belle does good too, and even though one starts out working for the man and both get to stick it to 'him' by the end of the movie.
