Review of District B13 (2004) by Mark N — 20 May 2012
Made before Free-Running became the tedious cliche D13 is a riot of practical stunts and fast paced action that puts every action flick for a decade to shame. Low budget filming means you see everything realistically and without tedious/choppy editing and stunts for the sheer hell of em, much in the way Ong Bak did for the martial arts-fest.
The English dub is horrendously stilted with poor voice work that is distractingly disjointed, not that the dialogue matters, and is best watched in the original French.
