Review of District 9 (2009) by Scott A — 16 Mar 2013

I recall a little about this movie, but really need to give it another watch. I just loved the set up of this film that Aliens DO exist and humans basically, like we always do, hate on them and treat them like rats.

I liked the transformation of a guy that is mean to the Aliens, actually turning into one.

And the effects of him turning, as well as the Alien effects are very amazing to look at.

Ending kind of sets it up for a sequel, but also kind of leaves you sad that things didn't go very right for the lead character.

I always get grossed out when I remember the eating of cat food scene. Yuck~.
