District 9.

District 9 is Sci-Fi Action thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat for most of the movie. If you like aliens and great acting you should check it out. District 9 is about An extraterrestrial race forced to live in slum-like conditions on Earth suddenly finds a kindred spirit in a government agent who is exposed to their biotechnology.

I thought that this film was fascinating because it was a one of a kind film w a real underdog story. I also enjoyed the music and special effects in this movie. It was also a real emotional movie. It was not predictable and only a little part of the movie was boring. It was not confusing and I thought it was and original clever film.

My favorite scene of the movie is when he threw up on the cake and passed out and when he woke up he saw he had a tentacle thingy on his arm. I liked this scene it had a huge surprise with changed the entire movie and what it was about it was also a very suspenseful scene.

The actor who gave the best performance to me was Sharlto Copley. He just made his underdog character one to root for and you could feel his emotions thats how strong he portrayed them. What he did different was he worked with the aliens where an most movies the aliens are the villains. My favorite character though was chris the prawn. Hewas just such a likeable character because he helped out Wikus.

I would give this film a 8.8 rating. The acting was great. I thought the movie was the perfect length to tell the story. The music was good. There was some great special effects like the aliens looked really cool. I think they could have cut out the interview scenes it made it feel like a documentary and I did not like it. I also thought they could have ended the movie better. I also hated the Wickus's accent it was hard to understand him and it was just an annoying voice. I also hated how the nigerians ate the prawn it was gross it made me feel uncomfortable and it was just inhumane.

Overall I would recommend this movie to any Sci-FI fans you wont be dissapointed. I would watch this movie again.
