Review of District 9 (2009) by Ken K — 18 May 2016
An absolutely brilliant movie that is not your typical alien invasion. Aliens got stranded in Africa years ago and the government made homes (slums) for them near the city. Some have been causing trouble and the people want them to move further away from the city. The government tries to move them but this causes problems. They find secrets about them and they have a couple alternative motives. Amazing story and excellent special effects. One of my favorite movies of the past few years and a must see if you like a great story with some good action.
