The poster cleverly presents us with what appears to be another Independence Day - aliens invade the earth, hero saves day by blowing up mothership - but flips the genre on its head with a tale of human prejudice, ostracism, and perennial fears of the outsider.
The use of South Africa as a backdrop is brilliant symbolism. Forget Star Wars and Star Trek, this is true science fiction. A masterpiece.
