Review of District 13: Ultimatum (2009) by Hardy H — 23 May 2010
Bigger isn't always better. I think the beginning showed some promise... but then soon you realized the plot is almost the same from the last film... and with more sillier scenes... More money and less inspiration usually equals bad news. Way too many "what the hell" moments.... like that ramp, out of nowhere, conveniently brought the car to the boss' office...
It tried to be big but I think this film unfortunately fell into the same category of films that are basically excuses to have fight scenes.
