Review of Disobedience (2018) by Dawdlingpoet — 22 Nov 2021
This is quite a good film. Its one where its what isn't said that says it all. Its all about acceptance and conformity within a jewish family. The acting is good and its pretty thought provoking. I liked the soft music played in the background - not too over bearing.
I thought it was quite poignant at times, with hushed dialogue, two people trying to maintain a relationship in obviously disapproving circumstances.
