Chilean director filmed mostly in London his 1st English-language film. Some critics have said the ending is vague. True. Also there are no flashbacks. We know the 3 main characters were friends, the 2 girls had a sexual encounter and the Rachel Weisz character moved away.

So the past is vague too. But the vague past and future contribute to the power of the film. It also helps, of course, that the 3 main performances are fine. An honest film you will probably want to talk about afterwards.
