Review of Dirty Work (1998) by Landen C — 09 Apr 2008
Unfortunately this is another example of a film I loved ten years ago that really doesn't hold up. It further makes me question whether it's my tastes changing or the film losing its potency. With this one, I'm gonna go with both.
It definitely has its moments and seems to find it's own niché (along with films like Private Parts) that helped give birth to the homophobic over-masculine watch-while-intoxicated culture like The Man Show and Beer League.
If you haven't seen it... just keep watching Spike TV as I'm sure it's soon to pop up there.
