Review of Dirty Work (1998) by Dave W — 08 Aug 2008
So bad, but so good. Norm Macdonald takes the lead in a story about a guy who sets up a revenge-for-hire business.
The plot, such as it is, is really wanting. The revenge jobs don't offer a lot of laughs, but it's the other stuff that'll getcha.
Jack Warden and Chevy Chase nail some brilliant lines in this movie, and Chris Farley goes over-the-top to spectacular effect.
Cameos by Gary Coleman and Adam Sandler really add to the fun.
Worth watching if you're in the mood for what's basically a long SNL sketch.
