Review of Dirty Work (1998) by Kevin R — 05 Oct 2010
Crossing guard grabbing an 8 year old?s ass over here.
Mitch Weaver and Sam McKenna are best friends that grew up together and have not amounted to much in their lives. When Sam?s father requires a heart transplant, they discover that they will need to raise a substantial amount of money to complete the surgery. They start their own revenge business where they are hired to execute dirty deeds.
?I?ve never seen so many dead hookers in my life!?
Bob Saget, director of For Hope, Jitters, Becoming Dick, and Farce of the Penguins, delivers Dirty Work. The storyline for this movie is unique for the genre and the characters are well presented and delivered. The comedic content is consistent and the acting was better than anticipated. The cast includes Norm McDonald, Artie Lang, Chevy Chase, Christopher McDonald, Don Rickles, Adam Sandler, and Jack Warden.
?I know I must really smell, plus I just farted.?
Dirty Work is a film that grabbed my attention over the weekend when flipping through the channel. I am a huge fan of Chris Farley and find Norm McDonald relatively entertaining. I did thoroughly enjoy this movie and found it on par with the Problem Child movies. There were some unique comedic sequences and content and this is worth viewing if you are a fan of this genre of comedies.
?He took away my chainsaw and now he?s using it on me.?
