Review of Dirty Sanchez: The Movie (2006) by Calvin M — 29 Sep 2006
I am a huge fan of the TV series so I don't think I can really be objective about this. Still, this is a review and I would have to say this was absolutely brilliant! It seems such a long time since I've seen anything new from the guys and this was in no way a let-down.
I think that most of their best stunts have already been done in the show but there were many here that ranked as memorable ideas. The gross-out factor was not as high as I expected, although perhaps I'm getting a little too used to seeing that sort of thing from these guys.
I prefer the humour and the banter between the guys and also the pranks, like Pritchard having to do a dirty phonecall to his mum. Classic. Overall, this is for fans of the show. I can't imagine someone who hasn't watched these guys on TV to enjoy this all that much, unless they're fans of Jackass too.
Go and see it if you like Dainton, Pritchard, Joyce and Pancho (who was surprisingly the funniest this time round) and if you like your humour skewed, morbid, disgusting and very very original. You won't see anything like this at the cinema.
..except maybe Jackass, but even then, the Dirty Sanchez guys are in a world of their own. I would recommend this (to fans of the show).
