Review of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988) by Ripö M — 14 May 2008
Oz's movies are often of a dubious nature but this is an exception. Steve Martin's presence in the movie is unfortunate but does give us something against which to set Caine's briliance as an actor and his civilized manner.
McDiarmid's subtle part helps with this stark culture contrast. While, of course, being hilarious, this title epitomises the difference between the brash American attitude and underplayed, dry, British humour.
