Review of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988) by Akshay S — 21 May 2008
Pretty disappointing. Being a Caine and Steve Martin movie I expected a 'laugh out loud' flick but the laughs are certainly far and few between. There is one hilarious scene with Caine taking lame Martin to task but apart from that, it offered no surprises and the final twist was fairly obvious.
The French Riviera does look romantic. Lots of style and the acting is good stuff but the script didn't offer much. Definitely not a must see.
