I'm not sure why but I just can't stand Steve Martin. This film was all right, nothing amazing. It had a clever little plot with some slick moves by the main characters. It was quite funny at times, but I never laughed out loud.
I liked the psychological warfare and rivalry between Martin and Caine, I just think the script could have been improved with some more work. Worth a watch, but don't expect anything spectacular.
