Review of Dirty Pretty Things (2002) by Paul P — 02 May 2009

I've only seen 5 or so Stephen Frears films and all of them are at least borderline great. His films have such a knack for authentic dialogue no matter the setting and the same goes for all of his films visually.

Dirty Pretty Things is no different. The film is almost too perfectly put together, I could've had another 30 minutes of this flick. Loved all the performances, Ejiofor is becoming a favorite. Tautou's naive dreams will break your heart.

And Sergi Lopez is an amazing villain!
