Review of Dirty Love (2005) by Wendy G — 13 Apr 2008
This movie's all over the place. At times I couldn't stand seeing Jenny McCarthy whine and repeat a sentence over and over again to the point that I wanted to punch a baby just to put it all into perspective.
But other times, I actually dug a moment or a line somebody said. Unfortunately, there weren't enough of those. No big laughs, a few smiles but mostly just sadness because I actually like the core four.
Jenny McCarthy, Carmen Electra and Kam Heskin are all pretty to look at but that's just completely ruined by seeing this movie. A scene with a massive pile of period blood, watching them shave their armpits, whore themselves out to ugly guys and Carmen Electra just being flat out annoying as the white girl who thinks she's black all add up to the destruction of their attractive physical appearances in my mind.
Eddie Kaye Thomas gets f'd in the a too. He spends most of his scenes being a dingleberry who says cliched shit about McCarthy deserving a better guy and aside from the scene where she gives him a fake blowjob, he added nothing to the movie.
The worst part is, he actually is the best guy in this movie. Among the numerous assholes who are in this picture, I hated Guillermo Diaz the most. His character needs to die in the same way the family from 'Dan In Real Life' need to die, torturous and painful.
My God, I hate him so friggin' much, it's not even funny. And that's what it all boils down to, this movie just isn't even funny. The one reason to see it would be the hot chicks but even THAT, they fucked up.
Disappointment all around...
