Review of Dirty Love (1988) by Mark V — 07 Jan 2014

There are a few laughs in "Dirty Love" but they are sandwiched between completely idiotic characters (and they're so frustrating that you'll find yourself yelling at the screen in rage), bad jokes (including a fetish where a man shoves a fish where the sun doesn't shine) and clichéd plot points.

As soon as the love interest is introduced, you know exactly how the movie is going to play out and aside from some jokes that have never been done before (and that's because they don't work) the movie doesn't try to be original in any way.

The story simply doesn't hold up and even the racy humour is no longer shocking. It's a really terrible film. (Dvd, March 30, 2012).
