Review of Dirty Harry (1971) by Luis F — 01 Jan 2011
A fine crime drama film released in 1971. It is progresses at an exciting though relaxed pace, in which Eastwood, who plays the infamous hero of Harry Calahan, is assigned to track down a rooftop, voyeuristic killer.
The film is filled with suspense and shootouts and several payouts fail for Harry Calahan, although the ultimate conclusion is certainly not like that. It is an exciting film, with a fine performance from Clint Eastwood.
"Dirty Harry" accompanies the Best Picture Winner of 1971, "The French Connection," in being one of the best films of that year.
