Review of Dirty Harry (1971) by Adam S — 07 May 2013
Along with the Man with No Name, "Dirty" Harry Callahan remains Clint Eastwood's most beloved character, for good reason. The quintessential tough guy remains just as awesome as ever today, even if his flagship film seems a tiny bit dated.
The problem with the film is the pacing, which even though the film goes for a mere 1hr 43 minutes, seems to go about things very slowly and deliberately, leaving the viewer a bit bored at times. But Eastwood's performance, and delivery of that famous line, make this worth enduring.
Do you feel lucky? Well do ya, punk?
