Review of Dirty Harry (1971) by Canes D — 15 Jun 2015
One of the best crime drama films ever made (especially during the 70s). This gritty "man with no name" legend takes his tough gruff personality and extreme shooting skills form the old west to the "modern" city. Thrilling action, Great score, cinematography, soundtrack, acting was spot on from everyone. Not as action packed or filled with women and explosions but it gets the job done in trying to take downs this sniper in a gritty real life scenario. This is the film that started the rogue cop genre and none have ever come close to this iconic film.
Did I mention it has arguably the greatest one-liner in cinema history? "Do ya feel lucky punk?".
10/10 - Flawless.
