Review of Dirty Harry (1971) by Matt P — 04 Sep 2010
Who's more badass then Clint Eastwood? Well when you give him a .44 Magnum it's pretty damn hard. Mix it together with some tough-lines, a good script, and bad attitude and you've got Dirty Harry Callahan; the epitome of good cop, bad attitude.
This is the film that sparked the whole 'lose cannon co on the edge' type deal, and boy did it deliver. This film has such realism with it's sadistic villain conteracted by the 'good hero' that his Clint Eastwood.
It certainly was a landmark of Eastwood, and for cops/robber movies all over Hollywood. But please, get the quote right when you quote it. Remember: It's do I feel lucky!
