Dirty Harry was the kind of "Street Cleaner" that American Decadence of the 70's needed. The story about a "Rebel and fearless cop who follows his own rules" challenged by a despiteful criminal, combined with the Lalo Schifrin's music brings us THAT action atmosphere that the audience loves.
