First let's address the elephant in the room-Zac Efron's @$$ is on point! Now that we got that out of the way...I'm a massive fan of raunchy comedies. It probably stems from watching movies like Porky's, Animal House, and Stripes when I was way too young to do so.
Dirty Grandpa follows in the footsteps of recent films like The Hangover & The 40 Year Old Virgin, and the jokes are spot on...though the story is quite lacking. Giving it "heart" may have been the wrong move in this case.
Perhaps they needed to just go completely to the dark side.
