Review of Dirty Grandpa (2016) by Nicky C — 23 Apr 2016
What did surprise me about Dirty Grandpa was that it is suitably repugnant to suit its title (and apparent R Rating). An R-Rated comedy not starring a Rogen, a Hill, or a Carell? Interesting. Unsurprisingly, the premise is spoilt with weak turns from Zac Efron (not believable as an office lackey, being built like that) and a gross attempt at tonal shifting.
That said, there are a lot of talented, under appreciated comedians in the film, which jacks my rating up a full star (shout out Henry Zebrowski!).
