This movie wasn't a remake of the original.This movie took place in Cuba during the revolution and showed how two young people learned about love, romance, and eachothers world out of the box. Maybe if some of you knew your movies better you wouldn't of called this a remake! Remakes are the same movie done over with the same time frame but with up dated technology and actors! Actually if you want to get technical Dirty Dancing Havana Nights is a "pre" qual, because the dates took place before Dirty Dancing.
