Much, much better than the first (even though I don't see how it is a sequel...). The dancing is a lot better and it's just filled with passion. I liked the cast (the return of Patrick Swayze w00t!) and the plot (sort of like DD 1 but in Cuba) Even though the ending was bittersweet, it was also realistic and not the usual "and they all lived happily ever after".
Hurray for a cute chick flick/dance movie.
