Review of Dinosaur (2000) by Mason M — 29 May 2016
This movie is fantastic! It has an excellent plot, character development, and themes. I feel like people don't take the time to understand this movie's characters. Unlike most Disney films, none of the characters in this are black or white.
It also has no unnecessary cheesy songs. It's down to earth with no need of magic. It shows how to deal with very real hardships and realities. Aladar has his strong heart tested on a journey of survival.
He even gives up at one point, making him much more relatable than majority of Disney's subsequent films. This movie had no need to be a documentary with no taking animals. Disney simply doesn't do that stuff.
Just watch Walking with Dinosaurs if you want that.
