I'm cool with stupid comedies. They have a place in our cinematic world, and often times they can be great. They are allowed to get away with a lot, simply because they are "stupid comedies." They can have a ridiculous premise, cheesy acting etc.
...just as long as the movie makes you laugh your ass off. 'Dinner' has all that but really isn't that funny. With this cast, I expected a lot more, but it was just bad.
