There were moments here and there that were actually a bit funny, but overall, I was pretty uncomfortable in many places. the havoc created by steve carrell's well-meaning but dim character and the disdain heaped upon him was painful to watch.

it was almost as if the filmakers wanted you to laugh at him the way all the characters in the film do, and I couldn't-I felt sorry for him. the only scene I really liked was the "duel" between carell and zack galifianakis.
