There are some very, very funny moments in this movie. Sadly, the film doesn't play to the strengths of either of its immensely talented leads, as it degenerates into slapstick more often than not, and slapstick physical humor is not what Carrell and Rudd excel at.
Still, if you're looking for a comedy and the choice is between this movie and "Grown Ups", see this one twice before you bother with the other.
