Review of Dinner for Schmucks (2010) by Tania M — 19 Oct 2011
When you watch something that stars Steve Carell you sort of know what to expect. This type of film suits him well and he gives a good performance simply because it's the type of movie he does best.
It's silly and just a bit over the top, but it's done in good fun and won't dissapoint you too much.
You know perfectly well what you're getting into just by reading the title, so any predudices you might have after watching it is concidered mute.
There were funny moments, certainly, but at the end of the day it's just too average to make a big deal of it.
