If you're going to watch a bollywood movie for the first time...make sure its this one! Although the story is nothing original, the chemistry between SRK and Kajol is what makes this film so enjoyable. It is a simple tale of boy meets girl, girl and boy dislike each other at first, then they fall in love, but shes engaged to someone else, so boy travels to India and tries to win her family over.

There are some really memorable moments, my favourite is when he comes to India for her and he plays their song and she hears it and comes running into the fields to find him..and then they sing Tujhe Dekha to... Classic romantic scene. There are also a lot of comic moments which unlike most films, are actually really funny! The climax is typical Bollywood but it works really well and it does make you cry so be warned!
