Review of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995) by Alex K — 02 Feb 2011
This movie proved to be a cult in bollywood cinema as before this in all movies as usually both hero & heroine's families were badly against each others and that always resulted as a hero heroine's exsile from their homes & to flee out somewhere they can sing Hum ne ghar chora hai rasmoo ko toraa hai...(Dil*aamir khan, madhuri dixit). So the first time in this movie hero instead of claiming asylum with his heroine yo some safer place, decides to fight against her father's so-called ego & that was mera punjab mera punjab, I mean for the hell n sake, what the fuck Amrish Puri was doing in Londo if he was missing punjab that bad, & always found flaws in brit.
Well, this movie is not fully upto the international standards but atleast worth watching if your parents are willing you to marry in back home lol.
