Review of Dil Chahta Hai (2001) by Vipul W — 09 Sep 2007

Very few Bollywood movies come close to this masterpiece. If you're anywhere between 20 and 30 and an Indian male then you have to watch this movie because you are in it, either played by Saif Ali Khan, Amir Khan or Akshay Khanna. I can't speak for the girls but any girl I've met so far has loved it. BTW the basic story applies to anyone from any country. If you can get over the language barrier or aren't put off by subtitles then watch this movie. You'll love it.

For those of us who moved from India to a foreign country a few years ago, this movie has become like an anthem, as much as a movie can become an anthem!
