Review of Digimon: The Movie (2000) by Aubrey P — 22 Jul 2012

As much as I love Digimon, I can't avoid the fact that this movie is one giant mess. It's three movies jammed together into one- the first part being the prologue of the series, the second part taking place between season one and two, and the last part somewhere in the middle of the second season- and they have little to nothing to do with each other.

Also, anyone who has never seen the show will be very confused- then again, even fans of the show didn't like this with the bad dubbing. I will give this movie kudos for trying to give us a good story about the Digimon, and the action sequences were steller.

Also, as a fan of the show, it was nice to see all of the characters I remember back and in action. I just wish it was done and dubbed more clever.
