Review of Diggers (2007) by Jonathan D — 13 Jul 2007
I've been wanting to see this since it came out in April but never got the chance. I almost paid twenty-five bucks for it on DVD and now, after a friend rented it, I'm so glad I didn't. It's almost becoming a cliche' with indie films to not have much of a story but throw pointless obstacles at its characters.
As I was watching, I was wondering what's the central point besides studying these characters' different lifestyles? Great acting across the board. It's kind of weird to see Paul Rudd not being sarcastic throughout but he did a great job.
To be optimistic about watching this film, at least I've got twenty-five dollars still in my pocket.
