Review of Dig (2012) by Ross P — 22 Jul 2007
I loved how this movie put you in the tumultuous world of these two not-so-huge bands trying to make an album, tour the country, and maybe even get paid. It is my belief that some of the events were taken out of context and super-dramatized, but it's such an interesting story to watch.
You feel like you're actually hanging out with The Brian Jonestown Massacre and The Dandy Warhols. (Oh, and we all know that BJM is a much better band!) Plus a wasted Anton Newcombe sitting outside a venue muttering about ".
..broke my sitar, motherfucker" sent me into compulsive laughter. Don't ask why.
