Review of Dig! (2004) by Lester Y — 28 May 2009
Thank God for mental illness. I mean, ever since I've been a fan of the BJM and the Dandys, I couldn't figure out the so-said "rivalry". I assumed it was a Beatles and Stones inspired deal, but after watching DiG!.
... Man, I dunno. The Dandys don't sound as good anymore. In fact...It kinda turned me off of them (or at least Taylor, who seems to be a FAKE), and put me in awe of Anton Newcombe. He's a real, real, real artist.
In order to live, he has to make music. We need more people with that drive in them these days, so watch this documentary and get INSPIRED, people.
